LEAN Project: Training of Trainers 2026 – Part 2 Advancing Nursing Education through Digital Innovation and International Collaboration

During 4–6 May 2026, the Ambient Assisted Living Nursing Education (LEAN Project) successfully organized the second “Training of Trainers” workshop at Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam. The workshop aimed to strengthen nursing education capacity in the digital era through the integration of Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) technologies, innovative pedagogies, ethics, and interdisciplinary collaboration in elderly care. This international collaboration brought together academic partners from Vietnam: -Hanoi Medical University -Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy -Nam Dinh University of Nursing and from Thailand: -Chiang Mai University -Prince of Songkla University with additional expertise and academic support from specialists in Greece and Portugal. Over the three-day workshop, participants engaged in key topics including: -Digital Pedagogy and Innovative Teaching -Ethics and AI in Elderly Care -Soft Skills Development -Curriculum Redesign for AAL Nursing Education The LEAN Project emphasizes patient-centered care and aims to prepare future nurses for the rapidly changing healthcare landscape through technology-enhanced learning and global collaboration.
