Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

   If you leave Thailand before 90 days, the day-count for the due date of the 90-day Report will restart upon your re-entry into Thailand. Your next report would be due 90 days from the entry date stamped in the passport.
   The notification can be made within 15 days before or 7 days after the due date.
   There is a fine of 2,000 Thai baht and If a foreigner who did not make the notification of staying over 90 days is arrested, he will be fined 4,000. - Baht.
   There is no fee for this report.
  

When you want to leave Thailand for a short period of time to travel to another country and then re-enter Thailand on the same visa.

Note: the re-entry permit does not prolong your visa. It is just a permit to be able to return to Thailand and use the remaining days of your visa.

  

1,000 Baht for single re-entry
3,800 Baht for multiple re-entry

   Your visa will be automatically expired.
  

You have to transfer the visa stamp to your new passport before extend your visa. Students can do it by themselves at the Songkhla immigration office.
The required documents are as follows:
- Photocopy of old passport
- Photocopy of new passport
- Transfer Stamp to A New Passport Form

There is no charge.
