On August 28–29, 2025, the Dean, accompanied by the Associate Dean for Research, Social Alliance, and International Affairs and the Heads of Departments, visited the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), to initiate academic collaboration and conduct a study tour.
The objectives of the visit included:
- Exchanging knowledge and benchmarking institutional strategies in graduate education, focusing on curriculum design, academic advising, and quality assurance aligned with regional frameworks such as AUN-QA
- Exploring collaborative research opportunities in priority areas such as gerontology, digital health, maternal-child health, mental health, and interprofessional education
- Initiating partnerships for faculty and student mobility programs, as well as joint supervision of graduate research
This visit marks a significant step toward enhancing academic excellence and fostering international collaboration in research and education.
