On May 27, 2026, the Faculty of Nursing officially held the opening ceremony of the 6th International Nursing Conference under the theme “Value Creation for Sustainable Health and Well-being of Humankind.”
The event was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Luppana Kitrungrote, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, who delivered the conference report and outlined its objectives. The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, President of the University, who officially declared the conference open. In addition, Dr. Charinthorn Phaetnanaweat, Deputy Mayor of Hat Yai City Municipality, warmly welcomed participants attending the conference from both Thailand and abroad.
The conference aims to advance the nursing profession through innovation, research, education, and international collaboration. It seeks to strengthen the role of nurses as key leaders in responding to environmental changes, promoting health, preventing disease, and addressing global challenges to achieve sustainable health and well-being for humankind.
