PSU Faculty of Nursing Delegation Visits the Faculty of Medicine, University of Miyazaki, Japan from November 3–14, 2025
A delegation from the Faculty of Nursing, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), led by Asst. Prof. Jitranan Kultanan, together with four undergraduate exchange students, participated in an academic visit to the Faculty of Medicine, University of Miyazaki (UOM), Japan, from November 3–14, 2025, under the 2025 Exchange Program between the two institutions.
During the visit, the delegation engaged in a variety of academic and cultural activities designed to enrich learning and strengthen international collaboration. Key activities included:
A study visit to the University of Miyazaki Hospital
Learning about firefighting operations and emergency response procedures
An observational visit to an elderly care center
Academic exchanges with UOM staff and students, where participants shared experiences related to research, teaching, and learning
The program provided valuable opportunities for cross-cultural learning, professional development, and the enhancement of academic networks between PSU and UOM. The visit also reinforced the commitment of both institutions to advancing global engagement in nursing and health sciences education.
